Atrial Fibrillation - Radiographers

Our cardiac radiographers run both the X-ray machines in the catheter lab and perform other cardiac investigations like MRI and CT scans. These scans can be used to generate 3-dimensional models of your heart (Click here to see a video of CT of left atrium) which are then imported into our cardiac mapping systems so that we have a true image of your heart to work with during a catheter ablation. This helps us know exactly where our catheters are in the complex anatomy of your heart and thus improves our outcomes.
